Oranjewoud subsidiary Strukton Rail acquires Balfour Beatty’s Scandinavian Railway company
Oranjewoud N.V. announces today that subsidiary Strukton Rail B.V. signed for the acquisition of Balfour Beatty’s Rail Scandinavia, including all current operations in Sweden and Denmark. Strukton Rail will continue all operations under the name of Strukton Rail. The Swedish Competition Authority has permitted the transaction. No permission from the Danish competition authority is required because of the limited size of the transaction in Denmark. The financial close will be at the beginning of 2014.
